Bio

Tara founded Block Design in 2000, shortly after she graduated. Keen to combine her passion for design with an engineering background, Tara set out to create a range of functional, beautiful lifestyle products. A couple of decades later, the Block Design studio is now a collaborative hub of creativity, colour and innovation. Every product begins life in the studio, situated above the workshop, where the team work hard to ensure they deliver the highest quality design and finish. The aim is to bring joy, infusing life with colour, distinctive design and products made to last. Block believe their business can be a platform for positive change and have recently begun the B-Corp accreditation process.
