Our first guest maker in the Fodder Focus 2026 series, Scarlett Cohen French creates jewellery that sits close to the body, interaction is immediate and personal.

Scarlett is a London-based jewellery designer whose practice bridges digital experimentation and traditional craft. A graduate of The Glasgow School of Art, her work combines enamel, precious metals and 3D printing. Each piece is handcrafted in her studio at the Goldsmiths’ Centre, Hatton Garden.

Her geometric forms draw inspiration from mathematical systems and chaos theory yet remain decisively handmade. Each piece retains subtle variation and evidence of construction.

Activated through wear, the work responds to movement and touch, becoming part of the rhythm of daily life.
