Slab-built vessels, finger-painted in pastel clays over the leather-hard piece so the maker's fingermarks stay visible in the surface. Brutes made this set as a response to a digital world: a celebration of the human hand, quite literally left in the clay. The forms take inspiration from Giorgio Morandi's quiet still lifes of jugs, bottles and bowls, and they're made to be used and enjoyed every day.

Butter Dish in Baby Blue | 8cm x 18.5cm approx.
