Simple and elegant, this incense holder by AKU Ceramics is the perfect addition to any home. The scooped bowl is perfectly formed to collect the ash from your choice of incense. Hand thrown in a grey stoneware with and glazed in AKU's signature matte glazes. This year the hole for the incense has been widened so it can take our compressed charcoal sticks and give them all the space they need to burn to the end.

Bio

Agata Kurzawa is an Edinburgh-based, Polish-born ceramicist practicing under the moniker AKU Ceramics. Agata initially studied Interior Design but has been glued to the potter's wheel since 2016, making functional tableware using a combination of clays. For Agata, the simple form is as important as the glaze. Working in muted, neutral tones she is influenced by organic colours and textures with the glazes named Loch, Dune, Ivory, Frost, Ochre & Umber.
